Billings Flying Service is a second generation company that took root in Billings, Montana in 1983. We operate a diverse fleet of helicopters to meet the needs of our clients.
Billings Flying Service’s CH-47D “Chinooks” are among the heaviest lifting helicopters with the most horsepower in the helicopter industry today. The Sikorsky UH60 “Blackhawk”, along with Bell 212HP and 206L aircraft, augment our abilities to fulfill a broad spectrum of helicopter operations.
Our pilots, mechanics, and support crew are highly experienced in FAA Part 133 external load operations including aerial construction, power line construction, aerial firefighting, equipment transportation, and geo-seismic exploration. We are FAA Part 135 certified for passenger air charter. Our aircraft are the finest utility helicopters available and are regularly upgraded to incorporate the latest technology.
Billings Flying Service, Inc. is owned by Billings Montana-native brothers Al and Gary Blain. The Blain brothers incorporated Billings Flying Service in December of 1983. Both Al and Gary have an extensive background in the industry and have built the company based on their thorough knowledge and passion for aviation.
